Bud · No. 083 — Raw opal, hand-braided

One chunk of opal, unpolished, caught in a net braided by hand — milky white and sand through most of it, with greens and blues surfacing as it turns. I wish you could see the fire in it. No setting, no glue, just the braid holding the stone. A gold-plated spacer sits above. The cord slides, so you set the length.

Each is braided around its own stone, so no two are alike — yours can differ from the one photographed.
